Bonjour! I'm Benoit

I'm a retired physical educator with 35 years of teaching experience and a 5th-degree judo black belt. I'm a three-time world judo champion in the veterans category.

Starting in the mid-2000s, I was asked to teach fall prevention techniques to people living with MS. The results were remarkable. People reported that when they fell, they applied my techniques and avoided serious injury. Encouraged by these outcomes, I expanded the program to seniors and wrote three books on fall prevention and protection.

Today, I'm recognized as a world expert on safe falling. I've presented my program internationally, including to 16 judo schools in Japan. My methodology is now taught across Quebec through judo clubs and community organizations.

My Philosophy: "Everyone learns to swim. Everyone should learn to fall. It's as simple as that."

With proper technique, anyone can dramatically reduce their risk of serious harm. Learning to fall safely should be as fundamental as learning to swim. It's a practical life skill that protects you at any age.

Come meet me at the conference on February 28.

Hello! I'm Peter

At age 8, I learned to fall safely through judo. That single skill has protected me from serious injury throughout my 69 years. A simple technique, learned once, has saved me countless times. I brought this insight to my community in Tecumseh: Why isn't everyone learning how to fall safely? That's when I reached out to Benoit Séguin, who has spent decades perfecting fall prevention instruction. Together, we're bringing this program to life.
This is not about me.
This is about safety within our community.
